launching

I've read a lot about people talking how to properly launch in the G but still confused a little bit.

Is the suggestion to hold the clutch in, rev the engine so the tach is sitting somewhere around 3000-3500. Then to literally just fully release the clutch pedal? Is this what "drop the clutch" means?

Yep. I wouldn't recommend doing it over 3500 because you may induce wheel hop (unless your tires are properly heated)

or burn the clutch, lots of people have had issues with clutch drops here. I recommend feathering the clutch at 3k instead

Search the drag section for posts with the word "launch" in the title. Actually, I already did it: https://g35driver.com/forums/search....archid=2894940
