I'm getting faster. Finally in the 1.9s 60ft.
Tonight we went to the local 1/8 mile countyline dragway in south Florida. The only thing I did different was launch using the 6000rpms map instead of the 5000rpm. I finally started to get consistent 1.9s in the 60ft. I got about 10 passes, and 9 were in the 1.9 with an ET of 8.7 and trap of 79.7 to 80.2.
Here are a couple of runs, and the video was against this Vette that I kept running with. I'm confident that I'll do a bit better with a 6500 or 7000rpms launch. We'll see next week. I need to ask Jared from Uprev to do that.

Those are excellent times; it took me much longer to get into the 1.9 sixty foots, and I don't think my times were that consistent. Also, your ET's are excellent for your traps. I've only had one 8.7(8.775), but on that run I trapped 81mph. And the last time I was out, I couldn't get better than a mid 8.8 while I trapped high 79's.
With similar sixties, and similar ET's, I seem to have a little more trap. I wonder what the difference is? Shifting speed? I'm not the fastest shifter in the world, but I doubt the difference is great enough to account for the difference in ET at the same trap.
Regardless, great runs. That ET is good for a 13.5/13.6 in the 1/4. You need to take it to the 1/4; I'd like to see how much you're picking up on the big end. Are you still on the OEM flywheel?

6k rpm? wouldn't 3500rpm faster clutch disengage result in a same kind of launch. Im sure u feather the clutch at 6k rpm. I never saw the point of launching the car more than 3500-4000 rpm. Regardless, nice times.

When I installed the new clutch, I put the ACT streetlite flywheel along with it, but the noise drove me crazy. After about 600 miles couldn't take it and dropped the tranny again to put the stock flywheel back on. It's nice and quiet now, with a nice grabbing clutch. Oh, and the light flywheel didn't make a difference in ETs or anything at the track, if anything, it made me bog a little while launching. Whatever the performance advantage lightweight flywheels give you, does not outweigh the drivabilities and noise issues, trust me.
