New track & first time running this car.

Had a fun night although the times were disappointing.

1. 05 Coupe
2. 6spd
3. Street Tires
4. Lubbock Drag Way
5. Temp: 81 F; Pressure: 30.00 inHg ; Dew Point: 59 F; Altitude: 3163 ft; Humidity: 47%

The track was repaired poorly so they closed off half of it and only ran 1/8th mile.

My goal was to run 9.3-9.5. Well let me say that I missed that by a LONG SHOT!

60: 2.423
330:6.548
1/8: 9.920
MPH: 73.08

Was running basically head to head with this '08 Mustang GT with an intake all night long. It's too bad the 1/4 wasn't open so I could make a decent comparison but oh well. The track should be fixed in a few weeks so I'll go back for a test and tune then.

Sad times but still had a "good time" nevertheless.

Thought I'd share.

EDIT: my mistake the altitude was 3163 not 3281. corrected now.

With the DA's at 5419, those times are respectable. Especially since you can still shave off .2-.3 off of your 60 ft with more practice and/or better track prep.

I wouldn't have any high expectations running at those conditions.

my plan is to revisit this track once the entire thing is opened up. I greatly wanted to land a 60' of 2.2-2.3 but after a few runs I realized that quickly wasn't going to be a reality and as of right now I'm unsure as to why. My best 60' was a 2.399.

Nevertheless I don't think that a 1/4 mile time of 13.9x is going to be plausible at this track under these conditions with the setup I've got.

On street tires? I don't think so.
