Oh, The Todd will get them if Trey goes through with it.
LOL
Although he's welcome to borrow them sometimes. They'll get used about twice a year when I get them. hahaha

Dsskyline - Sorry, I guess it got lost in all of the static in that thread.
Cheryl and I talked about selling off some of my mods - she wants me to keep them. So that's what I'll do for a while.
Info on my wheels/tires can be found here: https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...rag-setup.html
Let me know if you have any questions.
The best mod for drag racing? Tires, by far. Easy. In fact, I have vowed that the first thing I do for any future car that I plan to drag race is to get tires. However, you have to keep in mind the clutch if it's a manual - most stock clutches won't hold up to high rpms launches for very long.
What gave me the least? That's a tossup between the lightweight flywheel and the stillen airbox. I got the stillen airbox for its power gains and for its sound - it proved not to mix well with my setup. I got the lightweight flywheel because it's the "in thing" to do when replacing a clutch. The flywheel doesn't make power, and I regret ever going with it (too much noise, makes the car difficult to get going in 1st, hurt my launches at the strip).
BTW man - you're in NC? I know there are a couple of fast tracks out there. If you still have tires on your stock wheels, throw those on, and head out to the strip. You won't be as dependent on grippy rubber with a 5AT compared to us 6MT guys. With your numbers, you could conceivably pull mid-to-low 13's on street tires.
Swivel - thanks man. You ever take yours to the track?

Plus they just shut down our track.
I'd have to drive 3 hours to Edmonton. Still, it'd be fun, and some Edmonton G and Z guys go out pretty regularly so I might make the journey up there next spring.
I plan on going to the track this thursday at kinston dragway. The weather will be perfect no sign of rain, temp low 60-high 50, track elevation 167.
I noticed at this track the right side is faster (ET), but the trap is higher on the left with a lower ET.
I'm hoping to come close or match what you did on street tires my 60ft are consistent 2.04-2.05.
I'm getting my tune re-done since I was tuned on 91oct when I lived in Ca.

It's a perfect place to watch from if you can stand the wind and it's great for videos. If the weather holds OK and we get some free time in the next month or so, I'd like to go down again. They do test and tune on Friday evenings and Sundays most weeks. We'll try to post up if we are going to go down there again - maybe it will work out that you can come out as well.

It likely won't be until at least Dec. We have some family coming to visit in a couple of weeks so we will be spending weekends doing things around the house.
