Well what kind of mustang (model) are we talking about? Base V6? Gt? Mach1? Cobra? Gt500?

I think a gt and a g35 would be a good race, but a g35 vs a Mach1 or a Cobra... the G is going to have trouble keeping up... (I am talking stock vs stock)

g35 should lose to GT or higher. But it all depends on driver.

 

Well, I bought my 2000 GT pretty much stock and ran against my friend's 2006 G35 coupe 6mt and from a 40mph roll he had me by a little more than 1/4 car upto 110mph. Then I had full bolt-ons (headers, midpipe, catback, intake, plenum, throttle body, tune) and I had him by over a car. Then he got his G37s and it was closer, but I still had the small edge.

So in all, I'd say the G35 has the advantage on anything pre-2005 GTs as long as they are stock. Modified, be more careful. The '05+ GTs more trouble. Any of the Cobras you will have trouble with unless modified. If it's an '03-'04 Cobra, don't even bother lol

lol my friend with an '04 with headers, midpipe, catback, and a pulley, not even a tune made 482rwhp 479rwtq. The thing runs on stock tires a 12.2 or something like that. The car is absolutely insane.
