How much to run at SAC's test n tune?
That's the reason why I don't bother with Cali speedway. Rumor says that the track is also slightly uphill and occasional head winds.

Sacramento Raceway's Test N Tune is $50 but very well worth it. I wish I lived up there just to be there on Saturdays from 12-4pm.

Sac test n tune has the most lenient, almost non existent tech, pick your lane, run as much as you want, friendly staff and the best part, NO RICERS. It's slow and very few cars are there. Laid back atmosphere and you can hang out next to the tree if you want. Now, the Wednesday night races are a different story. I wasn't even using a helmet.

Are the east coast tracks "faster"? What are the top ranking tracks on the East?

MD has two "fast" tracks, two fairly fast tracks, and 1 total garbage track. I have run within .2 of a second and .5 mph at one of the fast tracks and one of the fairly fast tracks. I set my pb the same day as Dsskyline, and we got the lethal combo of good track prep, stupidly low DA's (-1000'), and no other cars (allowing us as many passes as we wished). MIR is the best all around track in MD. It is the place where many, many records (for all platforms) are held. I suggest you check out Ranger's vids (zo6 and zr1 record holder) he runs in the 10.60-10.70 range in a stock zr1 (to the tire!!!!), and close to the same times in a c6 zo6 with just dr's.

Good job. Hoping for a high 13 stock. Nice to know what bolt ons may bring at a fast track. Once I get some stock passes, I may have to break the DR's out of retirement.

Thanks and GL with your track goal. My new goal if possible is high 12's on street tires. I ran my times with no weight reduction. I want to see if I'm faster without my sub, spare and other things. If I'm not faster ill put on the drs also.
