Maybe it is just a driver thing because for 2 seasons I've been autocrossing with a guy who's got an SE-R and I usually take him by a whole second or more per lap... We're both bone stock.

 

There are several videos on youtube of the Altimas destroying the G on a 1/4 run.

 

i have a feeling that a G with only a spacer would walk the SE-R. It has 260HP and less torque than the G35. Here's some specs on the altima

ya ill definately take the g for the look factor and the g has got to be quicker then the alitma. espcially once you start talking about the vq35hr and the new vq37

 

are these cars modded? Is the Altima modded and G stock? Does the Altima have FI?... For the post about Altimas walking Gs at the drag strip, do they have NOS?...

Its really vague to post about any car beating another without details of each car...


But I can tell you for certain that a stock DE Altima does not beat a stock DE G - I drove both when I bought this car... I actually liked the Altma over the Maxima - but it wasnt on par with the G.

 

Hey guys my boy has a 05 SER and when i had my 03 coupe. I would kill him every time but he ran two other G's and he would beat them.

 

The G coupe weighs 300-400 pounds more than the altima coupe. So stock for stock. It should be close. But most of the vids I've seen. The altima takes the G with ease.

But who cares really. Everyone already knows the G is a pig on the tracks.

 

^ 2 posts above, just wondering why did u change from the 03 coupe to the 06 coupe? Did u crash the 03 or just to switch from auto to 6mt?

Vids don't mean squat. Far too many variables, but once again, feel free to draw your own conclusions based on limited information as long as it supports your dislike for the G35.

The Altima Coupe runs 0-60 in about 6.8 seconds, with a 14.8 quarter mile. Despite it's 280 pound advantage, it's a lot slower than a G35 Coupe, which runs at least a half second faster in both.

Many of us have asked, but you never answer. Why do you still own this car that you so obviously can't stand? Is it the self-hate that you need to keep fueling?
