Quaife ATBD for the G35...?
I had a Cattman/Quaife automatic torque-biasing differential on my 5-spd '95 Maxima SE, and I'll *never* forget what a big improvement it made with traction. The Quaife differential is a real jewel, with superb build quality. These units are quite literally guaranteed forever, even when installed in vehicles modified for racing! They are simply bullet-proof.
I contacted Ralph Hollack at info@quaifeamerica.com to inquire about their automatic torque biasing differentials, to see if they have a unit ready for our G35/350Z application.
Ralph's reply:
"Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not have an application yet for the G35/350Z. We have tossed it around, but we do not expect to have this application available until sometime next year.
Regards,
Ralph Hollack
PS- The Quaife differential is far superior to a KAAZ unit, both in function and build quality. However, even a conventional ltd slip is better than nothing at all."
The Quaife diff would probably run about twice the cost of a KAAZ unit, but it would be *well worth* the difference in cost. I encourage anyone interested in traction to lobby Quaife for a more focused effort on this project! Thanks.

I agree about the Quaife. It was A Quality piece. It was really needed on My Toy Car. Prelude powered Civic Coupe, With NOS Direct Port 100 shot. The car was stolen and Stripped 2 years ago. I Hope the Mother F*#%er Crashes and Burns........
