I think I wound up paying around $1700 for the clutch/flywheel and installation at the local Z shop here in town. I love both, but the flywheel can get chattery

Edit: It is the JWT set.

I, just for fun, got an estimate to change BOTH from a local mechanic shop. his estimate including labor and clutch was $700. the parts should not be that expensive man. and dont forget that stealerships charge lots of their labor, they charge like $80 an hour.
get an estimate from a local shop, screw the dealer

Stealership is the last place I would want to go to get a clutch/flywheel exchange done.

Spend a little more time researching before you buy anything. Making the decision one day after you posted the thread is too early IMO.

The JWT combo is very popular. I have the JWT flywheel, but went with the clutchmasters stage1 because I got the flywheel used, and the clutchmasters stage1 clutch was cheaper by itself than the JWT clutch by itself.

But you really need to decide if you can live with the flywheel noise.

Check out my review thread. I've got some video of the flywheel noise. After living with it for 9 months, I have to say that it's louder than in the video.

^ Much of my inspiration for trying the OEM flywheel with the NISMO clutch! Hopefully it workls out well. I'll have a review early next week, as it's being installed now.

FWIW, I hope the flywheel cost listed included labor. I picked up a new OEM dual-mass flywheel from www.mynismo.com for just under $900, plus shipping. Could save you a few hundred dollars, if labor wasn't included.

it may be a bit harder to drive ( stiffer / engages extremely quick ) but what a difference a clutch makes - i say STAY AWAY FROM FULL RACE clutches though - what people fail to realize is that you can destroy your tranny w/ an aggresive clutch.
dont get a lighten flywheel w/out a good clutch either ( people tend to forget that you'll be able to revv quick - on the same token, you can also DROP rpms just as quickly )
