clutch/fly install, noise (not chatter, like loose bolts in a coffee can)

Yes, i am very familiar with the cement truck noise blah blah, this is not that noise. i got my clutch, flywheel and pilot bearing all replaced, jwt package. gave it to the guy took about 4-5 hours and i come to pick it up. after driving it for about 100 miles or so i reved up the car in neutral all the way to redline just to see what the flywheel changed. first rev no unusual sounds, second rev i hear like bolts being thrown into the tranny case. like a buncha them and hen it goes away. its incredibly scary sounding like a buncha things are clanking into the tranny case. then it goes away? and comes back on the occasion. it happens most frequently when i rev the car in the 5k+ rpm range... I'm scared, what could it be!!!! i fear its the flywheel bolts geting thrown around in there or the dowels fell out or my throw out bearing's bearings are fallin out. its so rediculous sounding. when dricing normal no unusual sounds help!

update** its comparable to the sound you here when rocks fly up into the wheel well, but in the trannny case i think?... M/t fluid?, flywheel not attached?, AH! dont want to damage anything.. hoping its just like my old clutch build up like the clumps of clutch from burning it up still in the case...

when you take away a daul mass flywheel off of one of these cars it makes a horrid noise all the ones i have done/seen make the noise.

i have a trashed jwt flywheel sitting right next me, i do remeber the car i took it out of and two of bolts backed out of it (i did not install it, i installed a twin disc setup for him after the single disc setup was shot) i don't know if thats a common problem with them or not i would guess no but just sharing what i have seen.

Also another thing to keep in mind if it really took him 4-5 hours to do that job he has no clue what the hell he is doing it takes roughly 1 1/2 hours to do that job.

Anytime you put in a lightweight flywheel, you'll get chatter in neutral. The sound should go away under load. Are you sure it's not just that?

it won't go away under load it will be there under about 2500rpm on a G/Z car.

If you hear a chatter only as the clutch is engaging, you should look into the throw out bearing.

on every clutch i do throw out bearing and pilot bushing are replaced. its not the t/o bearing its the fact the dual mass flywheel is gone and that torsional vibration is not being absorbed by it it is going straight into the imput bearing of the transmission, thus coming from the bellhousing.
