I am changing tranny fluid on a 04 coupe 6mt. And the Rear diff. fluid, but i can't find out in the manual how much each takes. I heard 3.75 for the tranny but not sure for the rear diff. Please help

 

Rear diff takes aroung 1.5 qts. Buy 2 and you'll have some left over.

get 10 quarts.

diff. fluid takes 2.9 quarts
transmission takes 6.1 quarts

I just took mine in today.

 

diff is 1.5quarts

manual transmission is 4 quarts...

AUTOMATIC is going to be 12 if you are doing a complete fluid exchange from the torque converter and all... about 4 just from the pan...

 

I just purchase 4 quarts of amsoil MTG and 2 quarts of amsoil SVG for the rear... thanks for all the help... do you think i'll be able to add the fluid to the tranny with one of those hose attachments that you screw directly onto the bottle and just squeeze the fluid into the trans???? don't really wanna go buy a pump for this

 

ya just did mine the pump will make it easier I did the hose on the end of the bottle for the diff I am going to do the tranny tomorrow

Hey guys I’m new here so please help me out. I recently just took out the transmission pan along with the filter and valve body. Did a whole flush pretty much. It’s saying to put 10.3 litres for a whole flush is this right? I already put 8L am I screwed?
