A torque converter is nothing like a clutch in function or appearance, they work nothing alike. No one who understood how both worked would state they are interchangeable. If the tranny can automatically shift for you, I'd call it an auto, albeit a VERY ADVANCED auto (and definitely very unlike a traditional auto w/torque converter). Advanced automatic, manumatic, whatever you wanna call it, the GTR's tranny is still all good.

I said that they do same fvcking thing.
Torque converter transfers torque provide by the engine to the transmission.
Clutch does the same fvcking thing.

So how is it close to manual trany then it is to AUTO?
Cuz it's got clutches?
