That is from the article which i was supposed to read.
I believe you would be mistaken in your statement.

first paragraph of HOW IT WORKS article
what I said BITCH! what I said?
in yo face **** in yo fvcking face.
hahahahaha
Man I almost fell of the chair!
I never screamed so loud while typing before.
Most people know that cars come with two basic transmission types: manuals, which require that the driver change gears by depressing a clutch pedal and using a stick shift, and automatics, which do all of the shifting work for drivers using clutches, a torque converter and sets of planetary gears. But there's also something in between that offers the best of both worlds -- the dual-clutch transmission, also called the semi-automatic transmission, the "clutchless" manual transmission and the automated manual transmission.

Let me just quote couple of things I said earlier and the way you responded to them.

I said that they do same fvcking thing.
Torque converter transfers torque provide by the engine to the transmission.
Clutch does the same fvcking thing.
In manual transmission torque converting mechanism AKA CLUTCH engaged manualy
In Automatic transmission tongue converting mechanism AKA TORQUE CONVERTER engages automatically.
In GTRs ALL NEW 6 SPEED DUAL CLUTCH transmission torque converting mechanisms AKA CLUTCHES engage automatically.
So how is it close to manual trany then it is to AUTO?
Cuz it's got clutches?
well they engage Automatically.
I guess GTRs trany truly is the best of both worlds.

Why is that so hard to understand? The GTR tranny is neither a traditional MT/AT, it is its own type of transmission that is more like a MT than an AT

I don't know dude.
Now you starting to confuse me and ****.
I use to believe you now I'm lost
I don't know what to do.
Let me sum it up one more time for you. The GTR DCT tranny is not a AT or an MT tranny. It is its own type of tranny and shares more parts/characteristics with a traditional MT tranny. It is arguably the best of both worlds in terms of traditional transmission configurations

The GTR has a 6speed dual-clutch Semi-Automatic transmission. Tiptronic uses a torque converter, which replaced the manual clutch while a dual-clutch uses a computer to control a clutch. In tiptronic the car doesnt have a clutch, instead you are just taking control of automatic mode, or the transmission computer. In Semi-automatic, you are incontrol of actuators that uses a sensors and a servomotor to engage one clutch and disengage another. Even though it uses a clutch, it is all done electronically and automatically. So basicaly you only have an up/down shifter and what you do is then controlled by a computer to shift the car for you. This removes the need for a clutch pedal. Since it uses computers to engage/disengage the clutch, you are not manually engaging it/disengaging it with your foot (otherwise you would probably need 3 feet for the two clutches). Dual-clutch dont use torque convertors, but still use wet multiplate clutches, same ones in the auto tranny. Semi-automatic is still categorized as an automatic transmission since in a manual transmission you have cogs and you have to syncronize your rotation speed in order to shift to into gear. The new evo uses a simmilar automatic tranny as the GTR.
