stage 3 is kinda hard engagement. it's going to be a stiff clutch pedal and harsh engagement. i don't know if you'll want that on a daily drive, and it's really not necessary unless you are FI. there are alot of posts on here that say stage 1 or 2 is fine. stage 1 will be much more durable than oem. actually alot of reviews here, state that the exedy oem replacement is even more durable than oem. i have a stage 1 clutch on a 10yr old nitrous oxide car i beat on, it's still holding strong. so either way you should be fine.

how do you like your plenum btw? i just installed mine, love it!

I have the kinetix plenum, its pretty cool came with the car when I bought it.

How much did it cost you to install everything? I'm a broke *** niggua that needs to do this as cheaply as possible. That's why if I just got that excedy clutch disk for 42 bucks, do you think that would solve the problem for a while and then just change the flywheel like 10k miles down the road? Its pretty bad actually now that i drove it today, going up hills is the worst

you will need the clutch disc and clutch pressure plate at a minimum. the plate and the disc is what is fading. you can get away with not replacing the flywheel. it's been done before but again, not recommended. since a shop it taking it apart, have them look at the flywheel. if the flywheel is damaged beyond repair, don't use it, you will fk up ur new clutch.

call around and ask for a quote. but just a heads up, it's a 4 to 6 hour job(not an easy installation job in my book). so even if you goto the cheapest place to install, you are looking at anywhere between 300 to 500 for labor. so, it's not really worth changing out the flywheel after 10k and pay another 300 to install it.

it's really lookin like your clutch, i had same exact thing happen to me, up hills and stuff, and it's only going to get worse. until u can't drive it anymore so take it real easy on that clutch, it's about to go.

i was in the same situation as you i changed my clutch my self and changed the fly wheel and everything else in there make sure you also change the release bearing on it and dont put anything else than stock in it trust me on that one i took my tranny off 3 times to get this right and my biggest mistake was getting a stage 3 clutch but stick to stock!

Just under 60k. Infiniti wanted to charge me about $2,700, I bought the parts myself and made it a weekend thing with some friends and spent less that $1,000

I'm Buying that on monday, tried to buy it on friday but couldn't make it down there in time; I live pretty close to their warehouse. I went to live.com to try and get that 30% off deal but couldnt find that particular auction.
I got quoted 270 at some transmission shop near my house so that's pretty good I'm just wondering if they well install it right being that I didn't see that many nice cars around. I still might install it myself with a couple of friends that have the tools and actually know how to work on cars, but like you said 4-6 hours of work is kinda more than I want to walk into But it's a rear wheel drive car, I mean cant be too complex of a job
