Best replacement clutch/flywheel?

I think my clutch, and probably synchros are about done. I figure to upgrade the clutch and flywheel when figuring out what's wrong with the trans.

What kind of clutch/ flywheel is good for a "moderate" streeet ride? I'll probably never go over 400WHP in this car, so I don't need some hard core set-up. I don't mind a little chatter in trade for the performance.

Also, does the 2003 6MT have a LSD as OEM equipment? I figured it must have some kind, but it often doesn't feel like it.

Any advice/ experiences are appreciated!

JWT or ACT are good. ACT costing more and having a little less chatter then the JWT in my experience.

If i'm not mistaken then the 03 only has LSD, the VLSD started with subsequent years.

Personally I'd recommend going with a moderate clutch and resurfacing your stock flywheel...I went with like a stage 1 Luc clutch which is a slight improvement over stock that handles somewhere round 400WHP which is way more than what I'll ever need. Good luck.

There are a number of clutch and flywheel options available for the G35. Because the G comes with a stock dual-mass flywheel, a unit that isn't easy to surface properly, I would recommend the use of an aftermarket single-mass flywheel. There are steel and aluminum variants available. The Steel option will be more like the stock flywheel in regards to weight, feel and performance.

As for a clutch recommendation, I would go with a stage 2 (or similar). Our stage 2 utilizes a Kevlar disc material that is more durable, generally longer wearing, and still very drivable. Capacity for our Stage 2 (part number SN352) is 390lb.-ft at the crank. I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

In regards to the synchros issue, I had the same problem. I took it the dealership and let a tech drive it who agreed that the synchros were bad. The dealership replaced the transmission under warranty.
