rpm's

Been a LONG time since I posted,but here goes . while going lets say 60, in 6thgear and I give it gas to go .....65. the engine revs up but the car hesitates, it dosent jerk , but the tach revs up, then drops back down, THEN the car speeds up to the intended 65, anyone have this problem??? and whats up??????

Your clutch is gone.

even if it shifts perfect from 1st- all the way up???? and there is NO hesitation at all and it drives like it has since we bought it,

Let me re-explain the situation.while going lets say 60, in 6thgear and I give it gas to go ..... lets say 65.the car speeds up,the tach goes up, and then the tach goes DOWN !!sorry about the wrong explanationof the problem

Even the second explanation leads me to believe that you are experiencing clutch slip. If the RPM's increase at a rate that isn't proportionate to the increase of speed then the clutch is slipping. I know this may not be what you wanted to hear but it is the most likely cause of your issue. definetly clutch. I had the same problem, replaced the clutch, no problem!

That is pretty much what just happened with my 05. Flywheel and clutch pack = $1500
The stock flywheel I was told is right in the neighborhood of $1K by itself.
