I think my X has 3.5 gears stock, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Anyway, my RPM's are just over 3K at 80MPH. I'll get a closer estimate next time I'm on the highway.

Recently upgraded to a 3.5 FD w/vLSD (love it!). Will probably eventually go with 3.7 gears.

3.3 FD ~ 2900
3.5 FD ~ 3200

for my car:

3.3 at 80mph = 3K rpm (with 235/50/17 - iirc)

3.7 at 80mph = 3250 rpm (with 245/40/19)

if you want specific relevant data, you should request/require tire size... since they will alter speed if not exact diameter as OEM.

Yes, that should be correct. I only specifically remember the speed at 3k on the dot. Stock tire size.

04 g35x all stock except a ztube and pop-charger 3k right on @ 80mph, I have done extreme amounts of long distance highway driving in the G and I always thought that was a bit high btw I have stock rims and stock tire size

I'll have to check. I'm 6MT with 3.3. I think it's in the 2600 range but will check on the way home if traffic is light.

I'm also going to move this over to the drivetrain section.
