In case anyone is hunting for a fluid pump that fits standard quart size bottles, I picked one up for $7 at advance auto. I bought Mobile 1 75w90 at Autozone ($9 x2) but they only had a pump that fits gallon bottles. I know advance auto isn't nationwide, but the units are out there. The one I picked up has two different sets of threads for both bottle sizes.

The pumping took painfully long but there's no way I'd try to do that without a pump. Like everyone else, I had massive amounts of filings on my magnet at 40k miles. I had my car up on 4 stands (important to keep level) and filled with a little over 1.5 quarts. You will have to use a 10mm hex socket to complete the job. I adapted my socket up to 1/2 driver which gave me enough umph to loosen both plugs without needing a breaker bar.
