Which Diff for 5AT 3.3 Gears?

I'm looking at buying a LSD for my car and was looking into Carbonetic carbon LSD but I found out it only works with 6MT gearing and Carbonetic confirmed this for me.

Anyone know what (if any) LSDs will work with my 5AT diff?

I'll probably go with the Quaffe LSD, they have one that is a drop in for the 5AT 3.3 gears.

Might want to double check Quaife... they used to make AT specific (because 3.3 ring gear is thicker) - but when I picked one up a few years ago, they only made the MT version (which worked for me since I went 3.7)... current version may not work with 3.3

Check into Kaaz as well - I almost went with them before Quiafe... I can't remember for certain, but I'm pretty sure theirs fits 3.3... I spoke to the lead guy there at length (can't rememer name) - very accompdating and knowledgeable.

Did you buy the right one? They have three.

I bought mine several years ago when Quaife USA was the US distributor - all vendors at that time and Quaife USA had the MT version... and the old AT version wasn't being made.

The company that used to be Quaife USA no longer supports Quaife - but they made their own version: Wavetrac - a couple years ago they were working on a version for the G (I would look into that if I were in the market now), but I don't think it ever came to fruition.

So, Quaife very well may have introduced other variations for the G since then... and if you've researched and determined they have the fit for your application - it's a good choice.

Did a little reading on my350 and it appears the Quaife works with the 3.3. You can check out this thread for a lot of info..

nah, I dont need to research diffs anymore - I did a bunch when I gone mine... like I said, they may offer more versions now than they did when I purchased...

Quaife is a good choice - if you've determined for certain they have one that fits 3.3 I'd say go for it (if Wavetrak isn't available for G)... Kaaz is a bit cheaper - however not many G owners have used theirs so you wont find much info on it - but that would be my next choice.

If you've researched and determined what's available - why this thread?

I made the thread for brand recommendations, or to see if I missed anything. That's the point of these forums, right?
