I know exactly what you're talking about, inf. I have the same issue with my '06. Every time I switch from D to R I get this click sound coming from the rear. It's gotten a bit louder over time. I am assuming it is a rear axle click. I don't think its anything bad, but its just really annoying hearing that loud click now. Now it makes me not want to reverse so I won't have to hear that noise.

I've been researching this issue for a while and there is a DIY on here somewhere that shows how to resolve this issue. I haven't had time to try it myself but I've been meaning to. All you need to do is lube up the axel and the click sound should go away. But it also says that it won't take the sound away permanently. I'm not sure where its at but I'm sure you could find it if you do a quick search.

If you have basic wrenching skills the axle click fix is pretty easy. I did it to my car a month or so ago and used Valvoline synthetic grease. Cost me $7 and took a couple of hours to do both sides. Clicking is completely gone!
