^I dunno.
There are potential differences between ones like Mine, Mark's, Chris' (03.0 with the old ecm) and the 03.5-04.0 with the newer ECM but older TCM and 04.5 like yours with the newer ECM and TCM

Mark, do you have a way to check the trouble codes (stored ones too) easily?

Soo your 3.7fd how is the punch? they say 3.5 is a 6 to 7% increase in accel, how about the 3.7 is it a big difference? I heard with the 3.7 u can keep up with 07+ bmw 335i and 03 to 06 bmw M3 is that true?

you should look in ENGINE, DRIVETRAIN, and TUNING section

This information has been hashed over MANY MANY TIMES

The reason for the CC not working is related to the Transmission Control Module. It compares values with the FD and thus will not allow CC to engage with values exceeding +/- 7% or so....which is the diff of the gearing

I lose CC function around 84-85 MPH. If I don't exceed that speed I can use the CC fine. Anytime I do exceed I must turn off the car for 10-15 sec and it will reset and I can use it again.

v36 6MT is a direct swap, v36 5AT needs to switch flanges and have a small piece ground down. do NOT take a diff of a v36 w/7AT they changed them back to 3.3

you really need to spend some time researching... with a question like that it's clear you're not even sure what 3.7FD is.

Go the tech section of this forum - particularly drivetrain (for FD) - the other "power mods" you are after are in the tech forum as well. Those of us that did this mod years ago researched then asked questions that had not yet been answered (and in some cases just have to take a chance and try things based on logic). That makes the decision process less questionable and more satisfying. Try it.
