Has anyone installed this? Is it worth it and easy to self-install?

i have driven with one on an rsx. Very nice and i think it's one of the best ones you can get. The only problem i have heard of ppl having (ppl with rsx's that is) is that it might mess with the shift linkage cables. A friend of mine had his bent :/

i did a week ago very easy and point blank besides having to file 0.125 inch off of the shifter plate but very easy if you can turn a wrench or work a ratchet you can do it... and you can feel the difference very short... nuff said

The only thing that worries me about a short shifter is the extra effort in shifting and the notchy feel. How is the B&M when it comes to these issues?

You're seriously afraid of having to bulid up a little muscle in your shifting arm? Believe me the benefits are well worth it, after a few weeks of having used it you will ask yourself why you waited so long...
