Where should the clutch grab?

Just picked up an 04 6spd G35 coupe today and I was curious about the clutch in it. I've owned a lot of different manual cars and they have all been different in regards to where each of them grab. This car seems to not grab until the pedal is almost fully released. Is this a sign that the clutch may be going out or is this normal for these cars. I didn't feel the clutch slipping at all. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

If I was you I would order the RJM Clutch bracket to replace the OE one. One of the best mods you can do. rjmperformance.com check em out

Here is the thread for the review on it.

Whilst that seems to be a good upgrade, usually it means the clutch is on the way out, my Prelude was the same, flywheel wasn't great but clutch face was down to the rivets. That didn't seem to slip either.

I avoided the clutch bracket upgrade by figuring out how to adjust my pedal hight and the upper clutch switch, it's not a simple task but I can set the pedale where I want the clutch to let out.
