Car bucks when accelerating after replacing automatic transmission
So after replacing the automatic transmission (I did it alone in my garage and I’m not exactly a skilled mechanic) in my 2003 G35 Coupe, it jerks like crazy when I accelerate. The rpms bounce up and down and the car bucks back and forth when I accelerate. It only happens if I accelerate fast-ish, I can ease it into each gear without it jerking if I do it very slowly. After jerking too much it eventually throws a VDC, a SLIP, and an SES light with code P0335. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and reset the ECU but that didn’t help at all. Before I replaced the transmission, it never did this. The only reason I replaced it was because the old one shifted hard into gear and slipped into neutral sometimes. The new transmission solved all that, it just does this bucking thing now. I have no idea what the problem could be at this point and was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar and if they fixed it??

Did you use an OEM or Hitachi sensor? If not then that's likely the problem, these cars don't play nice with aftermarket sensors.
Make sure to inspect the wiring harness for damage as well.
Did you reuse the existing valve body and TCM? If not there's a chance it needs to be reprogrammed at the dealership, this will not cause the P0335 DTC however.

It's a Duralast one from Autozone, so yeah it's definitley not an OEM. I'll take it back and get an OEM one and see how that works and yeah I didn't reuse the existing valve body and TCM so if all else fails I'll take it to a Stealership, despite my pride
