Redline vs OEM

So I will be changing my fluids on my 04 G35 Sedan 6MT for the first time since I bought the car.I heard both positive and negative reviews on redline but nothing but positive for OEM Nissan MTF.The dealer by me is selling the fluid for 19.75 a quart and I will have to buy 4 bottles which is about $80 all together where as amazon has a gallon of redline MT85 for $51 shipped to me by Prime. Also do I have to replace the drain plug gaskets?? I seen many people doing this when changing their fluids

The crush washer should be replaced every time, they're like 25 cents apiece.

I recommend the MT85 simply because you are having synchro wear issue and it will help mask the problem.

Amazon has some crush washers but made by DORMAN hopefully it works good as OEM I don’t want to drive to Nissan for some washers haha & yea I really wanted to try redline but got scared when I heard some horror stories from G/Zs owners from here and My350z who even said that their car wouldn’t go into gear at all after filling up with redline.

Wow I've never heard of that before. I can only assume they added TOO MUCH fluid. It's thick and if you're filling the transmission in cold weather you can overfill the tranny pretty easily if you don't give it time to drain out of the hole when you overfill it. More is not better.

That's silly. Lost runs Redline everything and has no issue.

I used Redline fluids a while ago, but ended up with AMSOIL due to the way better quality! I even use AMSOIL cone air filters with my Fujita intake, they work great too!
