clutch slipping @ 33k miles

I have about 33k miles on my 04' 6mt and it just started to slip today, its actually slipping significantly ! Especially in 6th which is important in my highway commute, it can go under heavy acceleration. Who else has had clutch probs, clutch & tire are not covered by warranty correct?

I have over 70K on my stock clutch... no issues yet. And you are correct in that it would not be covered under warrenty.

That's a wear and tear item like brakes/tires. Not covered.

Clutchmaster Stage ONE installed

The clutch bites hard and engages pretty early, a very different feel after driving the soft factory clutch for 33k miles, I like the clutchmaster...

hi there, i am about to change my clutch too, and I ran into your thread...

since its been a long time when you are driving FX100, I would like to comment the clutch... because the price now is 395.00 <http://www.clutchmasters.com/shop/?page=shop%2Fflypage&MakeID=60&FromYear=2003&MakeM odelID=33020&AppID=5634>

(I will search, most likely there are even cheaper shops around)

... my concern is that it is a very cheap for a `performance` clutch, to ease the response I must say that I drive in traffic as well as highway.. NO TRACKS

thank you in advance

I've been running he clutchmasters stage1 for almost 15 thousand miles, and I still love it. I've got two links for you: here and here.

The first thread is my review of the clutch, along with a JWT flywheel. That thread includes video of the flywheel noises.

The second thread mentions an issue that I encountered after I installed the clutch: a mushy pedal. It was resolved with a stainless steel clutch line.

Hope that helps.
