MREV+ or MREV2

Hey guys I just purchased 2006 g35 mt coupe a couple weeks ago and am starting to look at mods. I was wondering what the difference was between the mrev+ and the mrev2? and if i do get one of them, what type of intake is the best bet (much controversy on the cold long vs short) and what type of spacer, if any, should I get?

ps Ive searched through the forum and still cant find a definate clear answer on this... any help would be awesome.

MREV + is a 03-04 plenum spacer that is ported on some of the runners, the mrev2 is the same thing, but a better revised porting job done. I can get them if you're intersted.

The best intake is subjective, a lot of people like K&N drop in filter, some like stillen CAI (which is a cold air intake box) others like CAI's like AEM/NISMO. And some perfer a Z-tube with a pop charger.

My opinion goes with stillen CAI, and z-tube. But I HAVE NOT TRIED IT YET. I have a k&N drop in with mrev2

I am currently running the MREV+ with a 5/16" spacer. I tried a few different intake options and finally decided onthe Stillen HFAB. I have been quite pleased with this combo for the past 4 months. I have the MREV2 sitting in the garage. It's been waiting install on a dyno for awhile now. Once I get a bit more time and am able to the scheduling down with my dyno guy, I'll have some comparision results between the MREV+ and the MREV2.

The MREV 2 that just came out over a month ago can be applied to Non-RevUp engines and Rev-Up engines alike. The MREV+ was for the 05-06 RevUp engines.
