You purge the system to get the pressure down, so its only show if you are purging the system when not necessary. Get a bottle heater too because you don't want it to get too cold either.

Take a moment to contemplate how to translate a certain HP jet into a torque gain curve.

A 75 HP jet at 6,000 rpm ~~ = 5252/6000 or 0.87 or 65 lb/ft.........the same 75 hp jet if activated at 3,000 rpm [6,000/3000=2 x 65 lb/ft or 130 lb/ft EXTRA at 3,000 rpm.

Using nitrous in 1st gear usually just burns up the tires until the rpms rise enough [torque falls enough].

You purge to remove air from the line, about 1000psi of bottle pressure is good. Air in the line will cause your nitrous to be delayed on the hit or be intermitten when spraying. A WOT throttle postion sensor is used that once the system is armed and you achieve WOT it will begin to spray. I would invest in a window switch and only start spraying above 3000rpm.

Also pick up a bottle heater like mentioned above to make sure your pressure is kept more constant. Having a low bottle pressure will affect how well the system functions. You can get a nice bottle heater from dynotune that is pressure activated.

Is your setup a wet or dry system I can't tell if you have a fuel solenoid from the picture.

From my reading of NOS installs, the bottle should be installed north to south,,, meaning the opener should be facing you.. you will get more out of the bottle and can do maybe 2-3 runs before you have to fill up again..

Hey guys I have a Venom VCN-1000 dry kit sitting in my living room. I really want to install it, but will it run just as good as the zex wet kit on my 06g35 mt? The neat thing is it has a computer and controller that ensures the proper air/fuel ratio under all operating conditions. Also, does anyone know of who can install it or a shop in los angeles,ca? thanks

Any opinions between zex vs. nos kits? Which one do you all think is better?

Once you arm it and go WOT it sprays. Very fun and can really notice the kick and extra speed.
Without a proper tune and one step cooler plugs, be ready to say bye bye to your motor bro
