Question RevUp Intake question.....

Just for my own edification, does anyone have any pictures of the inner workings of a RevUp intake PRIOR to a MREV2 install??? In other words a stock intake.

If a MREV2 is just a NON-REVUP intake ported for the REVUP, what do the guts of a stock REVUP intake look like????

MREV 2 is the non-revup lower plenum but supposedly heavily ported (but I have not seen one so I can't tell you for sure). I do know that the stock revup plenum has shorter runners then the nonrevup plenum. I have one of both. I'm hoping to do some porting on the nonrevup and installing it in my '05. There should be some gains, just not sure how much.

So for the less mechanically-inclined folks in the room, what exactly are the differences that I'm supposed to see between the two? Yeah, I can see slight visual differences and I've read the material on the forums and Motordyne's website, but can someone translate all that into something along the lines of "see that third bump on the left, it makes you go faster."

The '06 intake has a larger plenum with shorter runners. This will promote high RPM breathing/HP

The '03/'04/MREV intake has longer runners with a smaller plenum. This will promote lower rpm torque over HP.

I just wanted to see what the inside looked like compared to a Non-RevUp
