my car is auto, but I owned a mustang GT and my brother has a 350Z 6MT (440HP!!). I do press on the gas slightly as the clutch completely dis-engages, then about half way then wide open and quickly shift. On launches I hold the clutch at the edge of it dis-engaging and hold throttle at launch RPM, in this case anywhere from 3500-4000RPM. My brothers Z will break loose on street tires if we hold the throttle anything over 3200RPM. On 8.5inch slicks we are able to launch at 5500-6000k RPM depending on track conditions. I hope you understand my explanation!

Well, FYI again, i am not into racing and I am not a punk too. Young? Yeah i know, poor you!

I just do not get it, why do you have to leave comment since you know it is senseless and useless plus doesn't help in solving the problem. Honestly, what you said really doesn't help me at all. So, save some breath and let people who want to help leave comment.

And last but not least, "Diu Lei Lah" its cantonese, go figure that out, you genius!

Sooiseng ~ why do people have so much time!?
Pissing me off huh? You think too much of yourself my good chum. Such a little defensive and hypocritical chinese man.

My bad, let's re-focus.

Let me clarify, I just rev it to 7k-8k coz i thought it would give me a stong G-force. I test drove a auto G35 b4 and when i step on the gas hard, the car actually give me a very strong G-force. It is still fresh in my mind.
I appologize. I am wrong, i shouldn't had drive my car that way. I promise i never do it again, ok? please stop calling me stupid or silly. I made a mistake, I correct it and i move on.

Still, i am curious if i am could get the G-force while driving a 6mt? Step on Gas paddle, car go fast... RIGHT??

How should i drive my car in a way i can accelerate and out run some one in the red light. Not that i will do it all the time, but it will be cool if i can do it once in a while.

read my last post, but practicing will be the only way to learn. That G-force statement is funny though!

Yes my tips work. If you take a motorcycle safety course, this is what they have you do. You need to let off the clutch til you start to feel the engine engage, and just do that slowly,it will feel like it's about to die,but you will feel where the engine will engage at. Then work the gas into that, and just be easy when you do it. This car doesn't need much work to move it. Also plz don't try and launch the car yet. You need to learn how to drive it first, and control it.Goodluck with this, and hope it works out.
