Is it better to reset the ecu after mods on the g35's or it doesn;t matter if you reset? would you gte more gains from your mods if you do or doesn;t make a difference? Anyone with info get back at me.

never know till you try. you will erase learned fuel settings, which may be good or bad depending on how good the settings were...

 

The car will adapt over time but a reset will get it started faster.

The are 3 levels of memory: One resets in 1 minute, the second takes about 5 minutes and the block learn for emission testing requires a few starts and or 50 miles of cruising on highway.

Because the vehicle must be adapable for sudden changes in mountains [altitude/temperature] or weather conditions.

OBD2 adapts fast in typical conditions.................resets of memory are not necessary unless you are replacing a failed sensor which has locked in a code.

Just drive a few miles.
