it already went back to stock and how have top speed headers, test pipes, and HKS

 

you're the only person i know that went from fake to the real deal.

what's your honest opinion? do you think the real hks is worth its price, considering the available replica?

 

Honest opinion ahero....design is exactly the same basically....little bit deeper tone than the HKS. I didnt like how the tips didnt come out far enough. the fitment was so-so....could of been better. But as far as price its a def. yes. Good deal for the price and sound you get....the quality that the HKS has is not there.

I think as far as purchasing the Real HKS you pay for what you get...You get the sound and quality which is why you pay so much for it. but if someone is on a budget and cant afford the HKS go with the replica. Its not much different...just little things hear and there...you can easily extend the tips out by drilling 2 new holes.....and the alignment can be fixed at an exhaust shop easily.

The reason why i switched is because i couldnt pass up a deal on an HKS with Top speed test pipes for 980.

 

yeh, that's the thing i noticed as well. the replica is noticeably deeper than the real hks.

no problem ahero!!! anytime to help out the g members. Hows the car running? I am getting the Nismo front Bumper (factory Color), Ings +1 glass side skirts (Factory Color), and the nismo rear diffuser (gloss black) here in the next week or 2.

 

where did you get it from? ind of on a budget and heard some good reviews from the guys on My350...

I just put the Xo2 on last week and I really love it. I could have afforded the HKS if I wanted it but to be totally honest, it's always sounded a little ricey to me. Don't get me wrong it's a great exhaust but I just love the deeper tone and growl that the Xo2 has. For one to say the Xo2 sounds "like ***" is just ignorant. People only say that because it's the thing to say about it. If a G drove by and you had no idea it was on the car, I don't see how anyone could HONESTLY say wow that car sounds awful. Deep and growly....sorry but that just sounds mean, IMHO of course.

 

For one to say people are ignorant for offering their opinions is just ignorant.

How good/bad an exhaust sounds is totally subjective - there's nothing objective about it.

People only say "the Xo2 sounds 'like ***'" because that is how they feel. Having heard/seen this exhaust in person, I guess I'm one of those ignorant people by your definition.

 

I think it's ignorant when people say it sounds like crap just because it's the thing to say. I did say it was my OPINION and hey, if you like a more ricey sound, more power to you.

 

ehhh...im stock again for sure...if injen didnt have so much drone i would get have sticked with it
