Donuts FTW !

How heavy is the pulley tho? since for ppl with UR pulleys, we have to go custom on belts, but I think it is worth it as long as it is paired up with a normal belt replacement job

Btw, I thought the 2004 also have mechanical fans!!? or they are just driven not by that idler pulley?

The pulley and bracket were a few ounces under 3 pounds.

Nice post, Andrew. And the timing cover looks sick. I have to see if my sedan has the belt fan. It's supposed to be an 03.5, but I think it has the fan belt.

You got it. I'd probably remove the thing too if I could. If you can get the belt tensioned correctly, why not?

Tim,

You don't need to pull the motor. it is easily accomplished with the motor in the car. Hell, I didn't even scrape a knuckle. (that's a new one for me.)

Does your sedan also have the "doggy door" trunk?

it is a 060455.

if you forget, just ask the salesperson for the size of standard length belt. then, tell him that you need a belt 1" shorter.

I believe the stock belt is 46.5." The stock part numbner is a 060465. this one is 45.5" long.
