Engine sounds like a waterfall?! Help!!

I had the water swishing noise last summer but it has gone away after the coolant was changed.

vapor/smoke out the exhaust pipes sounds like a blown head gasket! What color exactly was the gas coming out? Sorry bud but really sounds like a head gasket.
