Spacer Q?

Hey guys,
So i been searching around for the past 2 weeks on and off regarding the spacers i basically understand what it does and how it's installed but i see half a dozen brands that sell what appears to be the same product. I just had 2 Q's, i know if i put the 5/8" i'll have to mod the engine cover slightly to get it to fit back on the plenum but from what i read if i get the 1/2' i'll have to mod the strut as well? is that correct? i'm guessin the 1/2'' is a lil better but i don't wanna have to gut out my engine bay just for 1/2''. The second question is which spacer is the "best" or do they all have pros and cons?

Thanks,
-Rogue

Motordyne is the only one you need to be looking at.

Are you quoting the correct sizes?....did you really mean 5/16"?
