Where you getting all your stuff from? Especially the j-matic. Tacoma nissan has an internet parts site that had decent prices in the past.

do not do this to your VQ, my brothers shop that builds custom supra motors said this stuff is not good. Lets just say they deal with botched up engines from customers all the time.

Other useful stuff theyve learned on high performance car fluids:

1. Motul is meant to be changed atleast once a year, not recommened for long use...its race fluid ( I have motul rear diff and brake fluid )

2. Lucas oil treatment for injectors actually works and the only one they have found to clean injectors somewhat in this fashion.

3. learn to rev match

I used seafoam on my engine. I did it when I just bought it. I actually use seafoam with all the cars I had. The fun part it watching the smoke come out of the exhaust

I used it on my Maxima and wife's cars at around every 40k miles with good results. Used the vacuum off the power steering hose. Make sure you're in a well ventilated area and get ready to **** off your neighbors with a giant, steady cloud until it's all burned off.
You can get it at most auto parts store.

I have not used BG44K on my G. I did use it on my old '95 Maxima and my wife's old '94 Accord (both at around 120K miles) and was pleased with the results.

im a mechanic and most of that stuff is b.s. i just run premium gas, and synthetic fluids. royal purple to be exact. we use justice brothers products at my work and they're pretty good. i really like their fuel system stuff (injector cleaner, induction cleaner, pcv system cleaner, tbi cleaner.) works really good.

+ 1 that's how ya do it. Works well too.

So, would this make BG44k better than solvent based products?

All BG products ar 90% carrier solvents and oils. The other 3-10% [depending on products] are serious detergents designed for specific cleaning functions.

Why there are over 20 products each designed to solve one and only one problem.

Important to analyse and indentify which one and where you are trying to clean!

A product that works in oil, or transmission, or fuel, or power steering universally CANNOT be doing an effective job.
