As in the snap on internal supports?
They are self retaining, self sealing and thermally non-conductive. And for reasons that are obvious and some not so obvious, and these are very important attributes to have.
That can't be done with metal supports.
Metal supports not only don't have the advantages listed above, they have several significant disadvantages associated with them because other things must be done to compensate for the self retaining and self sealing aspects. But then that introduces other potential problems.
The plastic internal supports are a much better solution.

I'll be running some more exhaust component dynos this weekend but I'm always available.

Just Kidding!!!
Tony has a hidden secret that not many know about... when he's in his shop alone, he morphs into octoman - he actually has 8 arms and can trouble shoot over the phone while mocking up new products, while dyno testing prototypes!
How do you think he got such a great reputation for customer support and @ss-kickin' mods?... No ordinary human can do that
