you sure its after o3.5? because my sedan has no doggy door on the back so i figured it was an 03.5 but who knows..

Not true. I have an 03.5 and it has the belt driven fan. Believe its '04 and up.

Is yours wired:
AC on=Both on
First Temp sensor reached (I think 190s or so)=Both on?

That's how my FAL and AMS is set up

hmm so if mine turns on at around 204 degrees or so is that too high? mine is wired in to original aux fan on the 03s so maybe since it was only aux fan its set at higher temps?

puting in a thermostat at 170 instead of stock 180 would help maybe?

According to the G coupe FSM I have, the dual electric fans are set to run on low at 203 degrees and high at 212 degrees. I don't think adding a 10 degree lower t-stat would make a lick of difference.

If your thermostat opens earlier it can help keep things a little cooler. The other option is to change out the thermostat on your fans and have them come on ~170-180.

my fan is wired into the factory harness, no separate thermostat here.
