Thumbs up How to reach this goal? 340RWHP and >310LB-FT TQ .

I have a simple goal for my G35 and it's to make the numbers in the title.

Just want to put a bit more pep in its step and I'm fully aware that all the bolt-ons I've done thus far have been basically nominal at best.

My budget is $4500-5000.

My car is an '05 G35 6MT coupe and of course is a revup.

Any suggestions?

Currently I have the following in the "engine" department: K&N drop-in, z-tube, nismo headers/exhaust, MREV, 5/16" MD Spacer, Nismo t-stat and I think that just about wraps it up.

I'm thinking that leaves me currently somewhere around 260-270 RWHP and 220-230 LB-FT. under optimum conditions and so my gain would have to be somewhere in the range of 80-90 more HP with whatever direction I decide to go.

Thanks.

only because the owners do dumb things. The ATI is no better than the vortech. OP you should definitely pick up a used vortech kit and you will easily meet your goals on that budget.

Or you could go the nitrous route.

Side note: ProChargers are the **** if you do it right int he first place... everyone got a scare when they first came out because the kit only came with FMU, and nothing for timing... now with the UTEC, FCON, etc., it's just as safe as any other FI... read more.
So I can't get it. It's not reasonable to have a vortech and no tuning and at least the basic minimal gauges for maintenance and diagnostic purposes.

My assumption is that Ican't get away from any FI for any less than $6500-$7000.

What can I do in that lower range of $4500-$5000 is my question.
