so iv heard that chips are really bad for your car, but my friend said that with certain parts a chip won't hurt your car and really is a good mod. Can some one please clarify? Thanks

There are no chips for the G35. The only chip I have ever heard of working was on a Audi A4 1.8t.

For G35's, the best thing you can get (electronic wise) is an osiris reflash of the ECU. That will give you the best power out of all of the mods you put on. Is costs about $500.

How much does that cost? And do u have a rough estimate of hp/torque gain?

yeah chips are perfectly safe for G35s cause A) there are none, and B) even if they had them they wouldn't really add any benefit whatsoever

chips are very effective in factory turbocharged engines....if im not mistaken, they basically just alter the boost

You can find a used UTEC like i did, for about 500-600 and after i got it tuned I gained 25hp and 30lb.tq to the wheel My supporting mods were intake, plenum spacer, test pipes and exhaust.
