in the DO IT YOURSELF forum???? and what do the mean by "Make sure that the throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound." on the Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning step.... is it with the car in the off position??? any help would be great

Re: resets???

Yes all the reset procedures are useful and advantageous. They all make sure settings are the way they should be and that your ride functions and performs optimally.

"Make sure that the throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound." --- when the key is switched from the on to the off position, the throttle valve makes a loud and distinctive 'clickety click' sound.

Re: resets???

I personally have never heard this "clickety click" sound and
have done all four resets several times. If you reset the ECU
by touching the + and - battery terminals togeather as
InfinitiTech has instructed, everything gets reset at once.

Re: resets???

There is no performance advatage to do ing the throttle pedal reset. It is only performed if you replace your throttle body unit or gas pedal assys.
