Since you put vortech in after the walbro, did they install the FMU from vortech? Not sure if that might be a problem or not worth checking.

I think you're not suppose to your the FMU with a walbro. I believe it should feed the fuel directly and the FMU is not to be used if you have a walbro.

I didn't think the Vortech Full kit came with a 255 Walbro. It's like a 190 or something.

No- The Vortech is supposed to come with a 155 for a full kit. It's supposed to run in conjunction with the Vortech FMU.

Also- the tranny not shifting correctly is because the tranny is worn. How many miles on the car before the vortech went on?

I did not know walbro made an 255 inline pump. Typically, people install a walbro 255 that's an in-tank pump which replace your oem fuel pump(nissan oem not vortech). When doing this, vortech user do not install the FMU that came with the vortech kit as the new pump flow enough for the additional power.

It sounded like yout bought a 255 inline pump to replace the smaller one that came with the vortech?

I have no idea..
a 255 inline is really different for our cars. I'm running at 255 inTank for JWT FMU. Passed on the Vortech FMU and inline pump.
