Problem with Starting my Car

I have a 2003 G35 with maybe 70k Miles. I am having a problem where when I go to turn my car on, I put my foot on the clutch, turn the key and nothing happens. The electronics turn on, but the car makes no attempt to start. I brought it to Infiniti and they said that the Starter was bad, so they replaced it. After I got it back, I had the same problem a week later and brought it back in to get it fixed. They said it was wiring and it was fixed again. Well now a month later I am having the same problem. Any Ideas?

Keep going back to them, I believe you have a 90 day warranty after their work...

I would guess its the clutch switch going bad. There is a switch or sensor that engages when the clutch pedal is all the way down to complete the electrical circuit allowing the starter to engage.

This was exactly the problem. It was the switch between the computer and the clutch

i belive i am having this same problem. when i try to start the car everything powers up, but there is nothing happening with the starter. Once i begin to pump the clutch pedal the starter will begin to spin. It takes a while for me to pump the clutch and get it in a position where the starter will work.

Did you get a part number by any chance? i think this will be alot cheaper then the $300+ starter infiniti qouted me!

so they charged you for a starter then put in the clutch switch for free! wow i hope you got some money back because the starter $300+ and the switch is only $18.95 form my local infiniti. I would call that a huge F-UP.

By the way i got in touch with the local dealer and this is the part number they gave me. (253 25 D4000) It is $18.59 for anyone else with this problem.
