Our Dipstick is retarded.

I'm I the only person who finds it damn near impossible to get a clean oil reading?

I don't find it difficult to get the oil reading but I do find it extremely fvcking difficult putting the dip stick back in.

Weird, I've never had a problem getting it back in (no pun intended). Taking a good reading sometimes takes a few tries, though.

Same here... You have to put a hand on the lower portion of the dipstick itself and guide it in sometimes.... kinda like (user your imagination here).

Wipe it down with a damp paper towel first...

you can't get a clean reading if the car has been running. When the car is running it pushes oil partway up the dipstick tube. It needs to sit at least 10 or 15 minutes after you shut it off before the oil drains back down the tube and you can get a clean reading

Our dipstick is retarded....no ****? Every time I clean my intake filter I make sure I clean the area where the dipstick
goes, that ramp or what ever it is seems to get dirty fast....screwd design!

+1 on having a hard time putting the stick back in.

It not only has a twisted end, I can barely see the hole to put it in.
