it is kinda legit.

It is kinda a turbo but then it's not at all.

It's a turbo charger and it looks like a cold side of the turbo.

This may have failure written all over it.....

But then again I've seen supercharged 03+04 Cobra's with a turbo on them too.

So this should be interesting!

Veyron has 4 turbos..........nothing wrong there.

If you motor can handle it you can put a turbo for each cylinder if you want.

But putting two SC on a stock motor, trany, rear axle ?????????????????????

1. The Veyron is a V16 quad turbo, so the turbo/motor setup is equivalent to two V8 twin turbo engines slapped together.

2. The OP is totally missing the point to our comments.

a. He hasn't addressed what power he is looking to run.
b. He doesn't seem to realize the potential of the Vortech setup he has, and the various pulley and blower options available.
c. He obviously doesn't know how little boost the stock VQ is cable of running without kaboom kaboom kaboom
d. He aparently thinks that everything will work out because some shop will "sponsor" him (sorry... but this isn't going to happen)

In complete honesty, a fully built motor utilizing a T-Trim Vortech blower is good for close to, if not slightly exceeding 500 whp. Only if after maxing out at that level of tuning with the Vortech, should any person dedicated to having a SC car look for a second blower. Adding a second blower at this stage would just add needless weight, and is asking for a motor (he can't afford to blow up), to explode.

All ranting aside, OP I wish you the best. Please keep us posted.

Having twin SC isn't really the issue...I'm more worried that the OP is getting in WAY over his head. In the Pontiac Grand Prix forums a few people have twin charged their cars and they worked fine, but the benefits were few other than the cool factor and the problems were in large quantities.

Who cares what he's doing. I seems like he had the two SC laying around an had the time and money to put them together. I for one can't wait to see the results. If it detonates, we will all laugh and say "I told you so", if it works we will all want to know about how he did it. Grab some popcorn and a cold one and wait.
