Stage 3 Stillen?

I know there are tons of threads out there all about FI. I am a nubee and by all means I do not want to start a whole new thread on this subject. I just have 2 simple questions.
1) Does Stillen make a stage 3 sc for my 06 G35 coupe?
2) Are there any other hoods out there besides the Stillens to cover my sc and if so, please post a web site for me.
Thanks to all, in advance.

^^^

I don't see how you say this kit is a "non power making kit"

OP, if you want another hood, you can always modify the oem one

I had a stage 2,3,4 kit. For what it is, it's a fun kit. It makes good power for a street driven car, it's CARB legal and sounds awesome. If you want big power it's not a good kit but for a fun, normal street car it's a blast.

The hoods look a lot better in person.

I had all the stages of the kit and like Tim said its a fun kit but for the money spent its not worth it.If i wanted a s/c i would go with the vortech hands down....itll make a ton more power for less then the stillen.
I will admit i loved the sound as it scared some people when i got on it next to them but i never got more then 328rwhp(i think thats what it was).It was very reliable...except the little 4 rib belt whick has been changed to a 6 rib belt.

Go with the vortech if you are intent on a s/c.

awsome

Thanks for the replies, What would be the largest vortech you would go with for a daily driver? That would be cool cuz then I could keep my hood. Does a vortech system not make much noise and hows the reliability?

If you're worried about the vortech making noise, you really should hear the stillen first

noise

I really do not care if the thing makes noise or not I dont want it for the sound it makes. The only thing I care about is the performance the reliability and and any adverse affects a vortech might have on a daily driver like mine.

With a good conservative tune, your engine life will not be significantly shortened with the Vortech.

I don't know anyone with high mileage stillen/hks, so I cannot say for them.

Whats the power difference comparing vortech to Stillen? Will a vortech fit on an awd or auto? Other than the belts on the stillen I understand its very reliable, how about the vortech?

The vortech will ultimately have more peak power if you're willing to spend the money. It all depends on what you're looking for.

The phrase "if you want a faster car, buy a faster car" comes to mind, when you consider the $$ you'll be spending.

With the stillen you got what you got but with the vortech you can change pulleys and get a different tune for more power. The only good thing about the stillen is the instant torque it gives but up in the top end it completely falls on its face.
