Codes: p0014 & p0078...help!!!

Hey everyone, couple weeks ago, while driving, my serpentine belt broke, which I have replace. When I took her out for a spin, my car turn off. Everything electric works just fine. The problem now that I'am having is the Service Engine Soon came on, & my idle goes down less than 1k & while driving sometimes the engine turns off while I'am at a complete stop. I had a friend look at it, & run it through the computer. It gave me 2 codes: p0014 & p0078. My friend advised me that I had to replace the "camshaft adjust valve" bank 1, which I did. But the symtoms are still the same! Anyone experience this before or know what I should do next?

sounds to me like the broken belt & pieces hit a sensor or two and threw something out of whack... I would test all the sensors and replace as needed. Next time try replacing the belts on schedule to avoid this scenario. I actually had a car a few weeks ago that was a complete nightmare. I was just supposed to do the rear brakes, but instead I had to saw away at a seized caliper bolt (had to remove caliper), replace a wheel stud, and to top it off when I starter it up after that stuff was done, the power steering belt shredded to bits (it was done for).

In my case I just had to replace the broken parts. No sensor damage was done.
