Maybe so. I didn't do a search.

I also didn't realize Andrei started threads for anything except relationship advice.

Edit: Just found a DIY thread by him for a Murano (), but there were just a lot of pictures and no explanation. Didn't even show or explain how he removed the old seals or put the new ones in.

I'm assuming once the holes have been drilled out, you can just pop in new o-rings whenever needed.

I dont think he ever got his to work...

These are different than what he did (but totally same concept).

I remember seeing a thread where he broke out the plastic under the seals so we could replace the gaskets. I know he got the new seals in there but I can't say he was 100% successful on the install or if it stopped the leak.

You might be correct.

I'd just guess here that drilling out would be the same as Andrei breaking out all the plastic. Maybe R&D found a way to drill out the plastic and reinstall it after the new seals are put in?

^A detailed DIY for this job would be awesome. I'm afraid to check my spark plugs. I know I will find some oil in the tubes...the question is how much.

So, I'm guessing we'll have intake gaskets to replace, too. Is that all? Or, will I find more parts that I have to replace when I decide to tackle this job? Also, where's the best (cheapest) place to get the intake gaskets?

R&D Factory, have you run out of covers? I've pm'd you twice regarding status of my complete kit order, but I haven't heard back from you. It's probably been a month already and I'm just curious what the situation is. My CC hasn't been charged, so I'm guessing nothing has shipped yet.
Please update me on this.

Thank you.

Anyone working at a dealership want to confirm if a Valve cover from a Maxima or Altima would fit on the G coupe? Since we're running the same motors?

An ebay search shows that those cover only cost $50 or so. Which seems to be a better deal since it's just FN plastic....

Well, this DIY is definitely better but Andrei was pretty much the only member on here who essentially figured out what R&D was doing. I appreciate them both!
