Ohhh, i see Gurgen...LOL that sucks, it was a great price too, dont hesitate to gimme a call again if u ever need anything else, good luck with it and i cant wait to see this project =)

I am gutted for you and the loss of the engine in your car.
But I have one question for you, which rodbolts were you using?

Wow...talk about bringing it back fom the dead!

I had the stoc rod bolts in the stock car (i am assumung you are talking about the original engine). Codeflux has posted the link for the new engine.... lets hope it'll hold up...but i think i'll have to do the studs on this at some point.

What managment solution were you running to control timing and fueling at the time it blew?

Technosquare refslh.... but AFR and timing were perfect. Iw as also using J&S safeguard...

How do you know that AFR and timing were perfect, and that the stock ECU hadn't "learned" and advanced the timing or leaned out the mixture while off boost? This seems like a major problem with stock management solutions. If the motor blows at 6 psi of boost with no knock, it's a POS motor. Inertial loads are much higher. I tend to believe that most failures are due to a lean condition or improper timing. It only takes an instant...

Well the stock rod bolts are now a known weak link.
