You'll be fine with the ISO. Just install the Coolant Control Valve it comes with, set it to closed, and you never have to touch it again, doesn't get cold enough here in SoCal to need to have it open. Yes, you're fine running those mods together.
Ok im pumped :-) got the 5/16 iso, gonna install myself. One ?, is the valve really necessary to install if its always gonna be off?

08 G35 has the HR engine and has a completely different intake manifold design (dual intakes for one). The only thing in this thread that will work for you is an Osiris tune.

Motordyne does sell an intake manifold for the HR engine though but you're on your own to search if it works well or not.

You don't need the copper plate so the isothermal is the way to go. The aramid gasket works well in our brutal summers.

MD Spacer corrects Nissan's design error.

I installed the Motordyne 1/2" Spacer ISO Copper back in '05, other than my Osiris tune it is the best engine mod I've made....Gary

Since you live in houston the copper one is not necessary since its does not snow often or much to make a different so stay with the ISO, as advertise from vendors its suppose to get 12-14 more hp but to get the full benefit it would be wise to invest in MREV2 to fully get the potential hp.

10-15HP to the crank i believe... not sure how much to the wheels. bought STiLLEN HF Intake/cats and STiLLEN TRUE DUAL full catback exhaust before i bought the isothermal 5/16 motordyne w/the CCV and Aramid gasket and i gotta admit that the plenum spacer and i could tell the difference. throttle response, mid range power and the sound and feel of the exhaust was deeper.

got the osiris tuner and boy did that just change the drivability, acceleration, and throttle response is crazy! but thats off topic lol just wanted to share the experience.

but i highly recommend getting this 5/16 plenum spacer. should of been the first mod i looked into....
